“Snow Tips” Green Tea

“Snow Tips” is the name translated from the given name in Vietnamese (Shan Tuyet). This precious and special tea cultivar is from the Northern mountains of Vietnam where the Hill Tribes of Vietnam resided with elevations 1200 meters.

This particular green tea from Vietnam is from 300+ years old trees that has a large bud with underlying white hairs on the bottom that creates the white “snow” tips that attributed to its name.

Aroma: Smoky, nutty and vegetal

Taste: Creamy, sweet with a distinct, pleasant smokiness.

Steeping instructions:

Tea amount: 3g or 1 teaspoon of tea

Water amount: 175g water

Water temperature: 170-185°F (77-85°C)

Steep time: 2-3 minutes. Can brew 2-3 times.
